Day 1: Arrival

Altitude: 1,350 m/ 4,428 ft (Kathmandu)

A representative will come to pick you up at the airport. After that we’ll be taking you to your hotel. We’ll have a short briefing session and feel free to ask any question you might have regarding the tour. There’re no further activities for the day so you might as well check into the hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu

(Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath & Bauddhanath Stupa)

Na ons ontbijt rijden we ongeveer een half uur naar Patan Durbar Square. Het plein ligt in het centrum van de stad Lalitpur. Het paleis trekt veel bezoekers, omdat de koninklijke Malla-koningen hier vroeger woonden. Daarnaast is het plein ook een prachtig voorbeeld van de Newar-architectuur. Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen-tempel en andere tempels behoren tot de bezienswaardigheden die we zullen bezoeken.

Daarna rijden we naar de beroemde Pashupatinath-tempel. Deze ligt op 3 km ten noordwesten van Kathmandu en is een van de acht UNESCO-werelderfgoedsites in de Kathmandu-vallei. De tempel weerspiegelt de culturele, religieuze en spirituele overtuigingen van het hindoeïsme. Mensen van over de hele wereld komen hier naartoe om zegeningen te ontvangen van Pashupatinath.

Na een geslaagd bezoek aan Pashupatinath gaan we verder naar de Bauddhanath Stupa. Rijk aan boeddhistische symboliek wordt deze stupa beschouwd als de grootste van Nepal. Hij bevindt zich aan de oostkant van Kathmandu. De plek is een belangrijke pelgrimsbestemming voor Tibetaanse boeddhisten én voor de lokale bevolking. Daarna keren we terug naar het hotel om de nacht door te brengen na een lange en vermoeiende dag.

Day 03: Kathmandu- Pokhra - Ulleri

After having our breakfast, we’ll be heading to Pokhara on this day by taking a flight. After we arrive in Pokhara we’ll have a shortly visit in Pokhara hotel & we will keep some of our unnecessary stuffs at hotel then we will drive to Ulleri at the same day. After 4 hours of drive we’ll reach the Ulleri village as from Pokhara it will take approx. 55 km drive to reach in Ulleri. The road heading from Pokhara to Nayapul is blacktopped but from Nayapul to Ulleri we have to drive on off –road.

Day 04: Ulleri – Ghorepani

In the morning we’ll enjoy the view of Annapurna South and Huin-Chuli, with Fish-Tail peaks. Then after having the breakfast, we’ll start the walk to Ghorepani. From there we’ll have a short day walk on pleasant trail past Bhanthati, and into beautiful forest with rhododendron and pine trees. Walk leads to short steep ups and gradual climb reaching on top of a ridge, where Ghorepani village is located we’ll also see a scenic spot at the base of Poon Hill overlooking views of Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna peaks.
At Ghorepani we’ll have dinner and overnight stop in the comfort of a nice lodge.

Day 05: Ghorepani to Poonhill to Tadapani

At the early morning we’ll hike for an hour up to Poon Hill, the highest point of the adventure. We’ll be able enjoy the stunning sunrise that reflect on chain of snow peaks, facing views of world three highest mountain range. Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Annapurna with an array of peaks with majestic Machhapuchare Himal, the famed Fish Tail peak. After a glorious morning walks with mesmerizing views of sunrise and snow-mountain range, descend to Ghorepani for breakfast. As adventure continues heading up into lovely serene rhododendron and pine forest to Deurali top. The walk offers grand views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayas, then down to another Bhanthati. Afternoon walk down to a stream and then an hour climb to Tadapani located on a high ridge with number of good lodges with Annapurna Himalayas toward north.

Day 06: Tadapani to Ghandruk and return to Pokhra by Jeep.

Our last and final day of trekking, from Tadapani on pleasant forested path downhill to Ghandruk large Gurung village. Stopping for lunch facing grand views of surrounding landscapes with snow-capped peaks. From Ghandruk it’ll take approx. 55 km drive to reach in Pokhara. The road is off –road from Ghandruk to Nayapul and Nayapul to Pokhara we’ll drive in blacktopped road.

Day 07: Sightseeing in Pokhara.

Davis Falls
locally known as Patale Chhango and in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley is where the stream flowing from Phewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes. This is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.

Gupteshwor Cave
the revered Gupteshwor Cave is situated 2 km from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Davis Falls and the cave is almost 3 kms long. It has some big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all fours. This cave holds special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered.

Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple
Situated at an altitude of 800m above sea level, it is the second largest lake in Nepal. With the Barahi Island Temple in the middle of the lake it is the most important religious monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the female force Shakti. The reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Annapurna can be seen in its serene water. Thick forest lies on the adjoining southern slopes of the lake.

Tibetan Refugee Camp
The Tibetan camp Tashi Ling, which is behind Gupteshwor Cave, is renowned for the production and trade of woolen carpets and other handicrafts. The original Tibetan settlers in this region migrated to Nepal in the ‘50s.

World peace Pagoda

World peace Pagoda, the colossal Buddhist stupa, arranged at an elvation of 1098 m on the highest point of slope on the southern shore of Fawa lake is being an amazing sight in itself. Enjoy the rest of the day at chilling or exploring Pokhara. Rest of the afternoon free at leisure for individual activities.

Day 08:Pokhra to Chitwan by flight

After having breakfast, we’ll fly to Chitwan National park, Chitwan national park is the first national park of Nepal and boasts a beautiful setting and abundant wildlife. Chitwan National Park is home to many animals. We can also explore the history and essence of the park. Chitwan National Park offers a wide range of activities including Jeep Safari, canoe ride, cultural programs, and bird watching so after lunch we will do jungle safari. Jungle safari is an incredible opportunity to encounter rare animals and birds of Nepal such as Bengal tigers, one-horned Rhinoceros, Leopards, Bengal foxes, Honey Badgers and striped Hyenas. Then after such a long day of playing with elephant, taking pictures, and walking, our overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 09: Bharatpur – Kathmandu by flight. Bhaktapur Durbur Square, Kathmandu

After breakfast, we drive to Bharatpur airport to take our plane to fly back to Kathmandu. We see enchanting scenery from the plane, After 20 min flight we will arrive in Kathmandu then we drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square.


Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Bhaktapur durbar square is located nearly to the Kathmandu. The old royal Places are a major attraction in this durbar square. It represents the ancient life in bhaktapur. The monuments and temples around the site represent the history. Everything around Bhaktpur still looks as it did during the medieval time. In fact, bhaktapur is among the most intact ancient cities in neapal. The Square was beautifully crafted by ancient artists. Since then, the place has been renovated but the originality of the place still lies. It is a decent destination for studies of architecture and structures. After Bhaktapur we drive Kathmandu. Our overnight stay will be at Kathmandu

Day 10: Kathmandu Durbar Square – Swayambhunath Stupa. & free time.

Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Kathmandu Durbar is an ancient Malla Kingdom of Nepal that dates back to 14th century. This site was declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO back in 1997 and since thousands of tourists visit this historic place in Kathmandu each year. The prime attractions of this palace square are the art, architecture, craftworks and designs manifested in the pillars, buildings and windows, and the Hanuman Dhoka Museum. A big statue of Hanuman (who is one of the Hindu gods) is placed in front of the gate and hence the name. The palace is also surrounded by many small temples. This place is crowded with visitors and people all the time as it is an amazing hangout place for people of every age.

Swayambhunath Stupa: Also known as the Monkey Temple for its dense population of Monkeys, it is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupa in the Kathmandu Valley. This temple is a very sacred place for worship for Buddhists all over the world. One can observe large statues of Buddha, monasteries, and gompas in this stupa. This place also has a mythologic significance as it is believed that the stupa sits on the same place where the legendary Manjushree, the creator of Kathmandu Valley, had encountered a lotus in the valley lake. The Stupa lies on a hilltop and has a perfect vantage point from where the whole Kathmandu valley can be seen in its beauty and grandeur.

Day 11: Departure Day

Our travel journey has now come to an end as we say our goodbyes and take you to the Tribhuvan International Airport 3 hours prior to your flight time. We’ll come to pick you at your hotel and a representative will drive alongside you up till the departure gate at the airport.
